Reading Novel and Watching Movie

Reading novel and watching movie are different ways to get a story from different sources in modern times, but novel have been good sources for stories where we can find many writers with their latest work, while movie are getting more popular because new film usually use talented young actors and actresses who having a lot of fans waiting for their work and many films are adapted from novels that get a lot of attention in social media. Reading novel is usually reveal more characters that are not shown, besides watching movie is show the characters on visual. Reading novel and watching movie both are entertain, but the differences theres in how we use our imagination and time will be spent to enjoy the story.

Reading novel and watching movie both are presenting the same stories made with the aim to entertaining people who enjoy it. Reading novel and watching movie  in the same way are give so many genre of the stories to make a people easier choose their stories such as action, comedy, drama, fantasy, horror, romance, thriller, ect. Reading novel and watching movie in the same manner give all the details of the storyline such as plot, time, place and the name of the cast in the story. Moreover, reading novel and watching movie forming their structure in the same way to make a similar feelings at the ending of the story.

In spite of the same structures of stories between reading novel and watching movie, there are also differences between them. First, reading novel need our imagination to a story. In this cases, we must use our imagination to imagine what we read in the novel to feel the feelings of the characters in the story. In contrast, watching movie not need our imagination to story, because when watching movie we just focus on what a movie show to us in their visual. Unlike reading novel, we can’t create our creative thinking when watching movie. Furthermore, reading novel can take a long time depends of readers skills. Basically, the number of pages in a novel ranges from 200 until 300 pages depending on the size of the book, font, and density used, therefore, it will spend a lot of our time if our reading skills are lacking. On the contrary, time to watching movie is shorten. Watching movie only takes about 1 to 2 hours, that's why watching movies is more popular than reading novels. 

Next, reading novel can improve reading and writing skills. Even though it takes longer, but when we read the novel indirectly we improve our ability to write and read, that's why sometimes what we need is to sit and read the novel. Whereas, watching movie can’t improve our skills of reading and writing. Watching movie just helps us to quickly find out the contents of the story with a shorter time without helping to improve our reading and writing skills. On the whole, reading novel and watching movie entertain us with stories that are served with the advantages and disadvantages, we can choose reading book if we have a lot of time to finish a stories and want to improve our skill, while we can choose to watching movie if we don’t want to spent many times to finish a stories, it's all about your priority.
